What do you have to do in order to log in to a-z.lu for the first time after the transition?

When you visit the a-z.lu portal for the first time, you need to reset your password in order to access the portal's content and services. Your current password will not be migrated for reasons of data protection.

Click on "Login/Sign in".
Select the institutional group of your library. Each library in the bibnet.lu network belongs to a specific group of libraries (public libraries, school libraries, etc.). In case of doubt, please consult the overview of the libraries in the network and their membership in a given group.
The window "Log in to your account / Mit Ihrem Konto anmelden / Sign in to your account" will open. You have three options:
You are registered with the University of Luxembourg, click on the link uni.lu to log in;
You are registered with a school, click on the CGIE link to log in;
You are registered at another library member of the bibnet.lu network, e.g. the Cité Bibliothèque. Click on "Password forgotten/ Passwort vergessen/Forgot Password". Fill in your username and click on "Submit".
Follow the instructions in the email that will be sent to you. The new password must contain at least 11 characters, using upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. Please note: you will not be able to use parts of your name.

After entering and confirming your new password, you can log in via a-z.lu.
