About the Cité Bibliothèque
Since 26 September 2008 the library is established at the Cité building, 3, rue Genistre, near the "Place d'Armes". Since that day, the municipal library has become the "Cité-Bibliothèque". In the new location, the "Cité-Bibliothèque" has not only extended the opening hours, but also increased the collections consisting of: books, audiobooks, films and periodicals in four languages (French, German, English and Luxembourgish) for adults, teenagers and children.
The "Cité-Bibliothèque" is a place of public reading and recreation. The missions of the library are:
The "Cité-Bibliothèque" is an open-access library and all the documents can be consulted in the library and taken out on loan (except for dictionaries and encyclopaedia). |
